History
Raised in Northern Virginia, Dasha Makarishcheva swore to professionally pursue the arts early in elementary school. She collected technical knowledge of many artistic crafts, developing a strong creative foundation, and actively applied her skills to complex and unique projects.
While in high school Dasha worked on The Highlander, a monthly newsmagazine publication with over 70 active contributors at the time. She began as a regular artist, but quickly picked up on all associated software and technology, becoming the head, go-to person for creative and technological problem solving in both the news print and broadcasting departments.
Additionally, Dasha has always had a passion for educating. She held lectures, created projects, and tutored the staff, earning her many roles and responsibilities during her tenure.
With her love of technology and visual media, Dasha chose to pursue a degree in Visual Effects, and continued to build her experiences across pipelines, productions, and programming while also learning how to make explosions.
With an extensive background in the arts, passion for programming, and experience in creative workflows Dasha now works to build tools for pipelines with a strong interest and passion for UX/UI design, integration, and full stack application development.
Dasha enjoys the outdoors, video games, and teaching.
